Cause and Effect Part A
Title: Deadly Profanity
PSA Topic: Profanity
First Line: When you use profanity, people will disrespect you. (A: eye-level, S: establishing shot)
Second Line: When people disrespect you, no one will be around you. (A: aerial, S: pan across)
Third Line: When no one is around you, you will become lonely. (A: low, S: medium then close up)
Fourth Line: When you become lonely, you will slowly become insane. (A: eye-level, S: close-up)
Fifth Line: When you become insane, you will eat weird things. (A: high, S: tracking, medium)
Sixth Line: When you eat weird things, you will die a painful, embarrassing death. (A: Dutch, S: medium)
Conclusion: Don't die a painful, embarrassing death. Avoid using profanity!

Title: Poison
ACT 1----------
Scene 1
Location: Streets-Walking home from school
Actors: Julian(protagonist), Alan(friend)
Props: Backpacks
Scene Summary: Alan is congratulating Julian for getting 100% on the math exam, as always. Julian just smiles and act normally, as if it is not a big deal. This introduces that Julian is an honor student with high grades and good reputation. Then Julian tells Alan that he is getting bored of his school life. Julian says he wants to escape from the boring cycle of school life and try something new. Julian claims that all the years of studying seems to be a disease of boredom, and says he wants to find a "cure." Alan doesn't understand this, claiming everybody would kill to be in Julian's position. They both just laugh it off and continue as if nothing happened.

Location: Home
Actors: Julian
Props: Piles pf homework and a computer
Scene Summary: Julian is working hard to finish his homework. It is 11:40 PM and Julian takes a break. He lays back in his chair, looking up to the ceiling, and sighs. Then he continues working. This scene will show that Julian is slowly becoming extremely tired of his school life and is looking for an escape.

Scene Summary: Julian is working hard to finish his homework. It is 11:40 PM and Julian takes a break. He lays back in his chair, looking up to the ceiling, and sighs. Then he continues working. Props: backpacks and school supplies
Scene Summary: Evan, a kid with a bad reputation of smoking and drinking, invites Julian to his party. Alan, horrified to see this, tells Evan that Julian will never go to one of his "parties." Evan just smirks and says he only asked because the poor guy(Julian) seems to do nothing fun but study. Julian seems unimpressed by Evan's remark, and nonchalantly accepts the invitation. Evan smiles and gives him the party information. Alan is shocked by Julian's answer and confronts him, saying that there will be bad stuff at the party. Julian says he knows, and tells Alan not to worry about it. Julian than walks off, leaving Alan stunned.

Julian tells her this feeling and the girl smiles in a mysterious way. As they depart, the girl tells Julian that he can call her whenever he wants. Julian heads home feeling extremely happy.

Alan, as a friend, confronts Julian about this. Alan accuses Julian of falling under the bad influence, and Julian angrily rejects it. Alan tells Julian that the mysterious girl is a bad influence for him, and Julian gets so mad that he pushes Alan into the locker. Alan, hurt, tells Julian that he has changed. Alan angrily leaves the scene, dialing the girl's phone.

Scene Summary: Julian runs out to the street in panic and denial. He tries calling the mysterious girl, but the phone says the numbers do not exist. Alan eventually catches up with Julian. Julian is totally lost now, saying gibberish and claiming he needs to find the girl. Alan gets ahold of Julian, telling him to calm down. Alan tells Julian that there is no such girl. Julian then have a flashback. All these time he had spent with the Girl, Julian had been doing drugs and alcohol. Julian's first encounter with these bad influence was at Evan's party. From then, Julian had become addicted to drugs and alcohol. The mysterious girl was nothing but an illusion created by overdose of drugs and alcohol. Julian never realized this due to his strong denial and belief that he would never do such things. What he thought as a cure was actually a poison. Julian passes out from the shock of realization.

Scene Summary: It's been about 3 weeks since Julian's realization of his addiction. Since then, Julian's school life had been ruined, and he had been placed in a rehab. As the Therapist asks him various question regarding his condition, Julian answers nonchalantly. Then he glances to the side, seeing the Girl standing in the corner, smiling.
